Feeling a little tired, depressed, anxious or troubled after listening to the national news?
Wanna take a break from the seemingly non-stop coverage of a President who apparently is openly displaying signs of dementia, anger, bitterness, mood swings, cruelty and outbursts of gibberish for no apparent reason?
Sensing that the rule of law and reason with this Dear Leader is a mockery and that there will no change in the foreseeable future?
Well, if you are experiencing any or all of the above mental and emotional draining traits, you are not alone. Polling indicates that Americans (except for the right wing die hard MAGA core members) are in a nigh national fatigue and want an end to this purposed folly being conducted by Trump and his prostrate sycophants.
Make a note to yourself: three more years of this planned assault on the traditional mores and social values that have been in place for hundreds of years, and which are up for dissolution by a man who is venting his political spleen on all of us.
There is no light at the end of this tunnel because Dear Leader has no light in him except to create chaos, division and to find more ways to grift the country for his unrequited woes and imagined attacks against him.
In Trump World, all that matters and all that has his devoted attention is anything that enriches his pockets or that of his family members or allows him to grab more power from a Congressional GOP that has for all intents and purposes, traded their consciences and backbones to a present-day political Mussolini.
Dear Leader does not possess the needed political and presidential skills, tact, wisdom and congeniality to lead and much less to inspire the collective good of us all.
Not knowing or having even a rudimentary knowledge of how government works, the workings of the US Constitution or a grasp of what it means to have fellowship with long standing allies, Trump is a self-appointed mocker of all that is worthy, valuable and of long term good for the nation.
And why is that? Trump does not possess those human values or qualities that normally infuse other politicians by which he can accomplish goals that are beneficial to others besides his own image of his self worth and perverted image of his power and morality.
And here is the kicker. America (nigh half of it) intentionally and willfully voted to put this scoundrel back into the White House for a second term. Imagine that. Here, you had upfront knowledge of his nefarious ways during his first term and yet you said, “We like that. We want four more years of that!”
America made a willful choice to choose a convicted felon (34 times over), an adjusted sexual abuser and a “businessman” who was in charge of companies that went bankrupt six times and who scammed charities (until he was found out).
All of this was known to the voters when they went to the polls and yet despite having the chance to elect in the past a capable Hillary Clinton and recently a chance to elect a smart and capable Kamala Harris, America said no…”We prefer a convict in the White House who led an insurrection on the government.”
How rich is all of that!
The American voters intentionally engaged in their own political drama on the belief that Trump was cheated out of the White House and without a shred of evidence to back up those fantasy dreams.
America then, with Hillary and America now, with Kamala, clearly said we prefer a white male over that of a qualified woman to be our head of state.
Imagine if you can, a Black man getting elected to the White House with 34 felony convictions!
Yeah, I did not think you could.
And yet, this nightmare with Dear Leader shows no end in sight with a litany of foibles too long to list here, but you know what they are and Congress is in deep denial because they have been emasculated by Trump and his so called MAGA base.
With the Epstein Files turning into a circus, it will be many months before all of the files are released and even more time to digest them to see that this scandal will be the biggest ever in the annuals of political history and debauchery.
Just when you think that the churches in America would take this as an easy layup to speak out Biblical truths about morality, politics and fairness, those institutions are numb because they are more concerned about seeking and keeping power with the politicos than in raising the many red flags that America is becoming a godless country when it enthrones people like Trump and Company.
The die has been cast. Nations rise and fall and America is not exempt from that historical fact and the fact that it is the inner moral rot that causes and is causing nations to flounder; the demise of America is not shielded simply because we have ‘In God We Trust’ on our coins.
When nations call what is good, bad and what is bad, good… the game is over.
Collect the confetti and the red plastic cups and the last one leaving… please turn out the lights.
Oh, how the mighty have fallen!
Note: JUST IN: Trump posted an obscene meme of Michelle and Barack Obama as apes! It is all over the Internet. We know that Trump is a dye in the wool racist and his obsession about his moral and intellectual superior, Obama is legendary. Of course the White House defended it as being a spoof. Where is his biggest supporter, Nicki Minaj, when we now so desperately need her wisdom and counsel? Answer: Hiding out with Clarence Thomas and Tim Scott waiting for this storm to pass over.
