The Toledo-Lucas County Health Department’s Office on Minority Health is pleased to announce the 36th Annual Minority Health kickoff.
The Toledo Lucas County Health Department’s Office on Minority Health will be hosting several events during the month.
This year’s kickoff will be held at the following location: Where: Mott Branch Library
When: Thursday, April 6, 2023
Time: 2:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M.
This event will feature a beginner yoga session, taught by a certified instructor. Blood pressure and diabetes screenings will be available, along with health education materials and resources. Food, fun, gift cards, and prizes will be raffled off.
On April 29, 2023, the local office is hosting a Minority Health Expo, featuring lead screenings for children, community resources, food, raffles and much more. This event will feature several community organizations and health care providers. The Minority Health Expo will be held at the Frederick Douglass Center, 1001 Indiana Ave., Toledo, OH from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm.
