You know how to win friends and influence your enemies? Simple: Call your ardent supporters stupid and tell them you do not need their support anymore! That is a sure fire winner in anyone’s playbook.
And yet, this is some of the shocking name calling that Trump has been engaged in since the world, of which he is the ruler, (his words…not mine) is not yet genuflecting fast enough for him in light of the brewing scandal regarding his one time, best bud…the late Jeffrey Epstein.
In his former days as a “playa,” Trump lived the high life with Epstein and rumors of him cavorting with, “girls on the young side,” was visible for all to see in the New York tabloids.
But, something happened on the way to the circus. Jeffrey Epstein’s sordid history and subsequent sweet heart deal with prosecutors, has risen from the dead like the proverbial Phoenix and is spooking the 34 times convicted felon who occupies the White House.
The stench of a scandal possibly involving Trump is coming to full flower in the media and Trump is now sweating cheap girlie perfume as he tries to stave off the media flies that just love the smell of defeat or the rancid smell of a conspiracy theory that just won’t go away quietly into the dustbins of history.
Now, imagine if you were the skeletal hand of Epstein reaching out from his place in Hell and trying to grab the sleeve or pants cuff of a man who seemingly uses orange goop for his media make up.
In spite of Trump saying over and over again, “die Jeffrey…die!”, it ain’t happening and Trump knows it. So what does he do? He tells the House Leader, lil’ Mikey Johnson, to clear out the House until September in the hopes that it will buy him some time for this media frenzy to fizzle out.
Sorry, big guy, but that won’t happen! The story is too juicy and hundreds of un-avenged innocents who have been wrongfully denied full accountability from all of the adults who horribly abused them for pure sport and fun are still waiting for justice.
So now we have Dear Leader, in incompetent damage control, trying to divert everyone’s attention from his affiliation with Epstein and his pedophilia crimes.
And what sure fire diversion is there for his MAGA base than to raise the name of Obama!
Yes… Obama. Now, the storyline (for now) will be that Obama should be or could be charged with treason or sedition regarding the Russia voting/influence hoax. This is the gibberish that his clown car of Department of Justice stooges, Bondi and Patel, will peddle to the weak minded in the GOP.
If that does not work, Trump has an extensive playlist of other wacky diversions that he will toss against the barn door to see what may stick (spoiler alert: none will stick!).
Even the ever faithful MAGA base is getting grouchy and irritable with being told that In all of the years that they played the faithful role of “good doggie” and listened and followed every crackpot conspiracy theory, Trump was going to be their knight in shining armor to vindicate their righteousness in their crusade about all things they did not understand because they were duped by the Deep State!
What a feeling…to know that for nigh a decade, the MAGA faithful, gave their monies, time and fealty to a conman and now convicted felon, and now it was all for naught! What a punch to the MAGA gut.
Now, their tarnished hero is telling them, it was all a hoax and that he did it just to gain the White House and to play to their real or imagined fears that unless Trump stood in the gap, their standing as a White nation and as White people could be in jeopardy by those “others”.
Oh…the shame! The tears! The heartbreak! The losses! The rage! The betrayal! All because a New York con man rode into their town with loose talk that he was one of them, and sold them bottles of snake oil that they are now discovering, it was just colored water in the bottles; for them to, “get over it and move on!”
This MAGA base was apparently willing to forgive and forget Trump encouraging them to storm the Capitol on January 6 in a planned insurrection. They were willing to turn their eyes from Trump being adjudged a sexual abuser. They were willing to look at their feet while Trump was convicted of being a felon…34 times. They were willing to believe the big lie that the 2020 election was stolen.
But now. This is sumpin’ different. This is a grab you by the throat and spit in your face denial by Trump that he is asking them to get a life and move on about the Epstein files.
Well, they ain’t moving and Trump is not used to his servile base not heeding his every word as gospel. No sir! This time, part of MAGA is saying: “The gig is up…we want all of the Epstein files released…now!
The optics are not good for Dear Leader. Too many MAGA influencers are not fawning over him as he is used to having done when his shadow crosses their paths.
Their outrage is palatable and they want their overdue pound of flesh! Some members of the Senate GOP are starting to come out from under their tables and closets and with trembling voices, are telling Trump…”Release all of the files!”
My advice to him in light of the recent Supreme Court ruling that a president is immune from criminal acts done while in office?
Answer: Order Pam Bondi, the feckless head of the DOJ to bring all of the Epstein files to him for a private review and while he is alone around the fireplace, BURN ALL OF THE FILES!
There.
It is done and since Trump can not run again, he will simply withstand the firestorm and
become a lame duck president guaranteeing the Democrats winning the upcoming elections and then the White House in 2028.
See how easy that was! Ezee-Pezee!
