The Greater Toledo Realtist Association held its annual Masquerade Night at The Casino at Gesu Sullivan Center November 2. The elegant evening featured food, refreshments, music and an array of casino games. Founding President Rob Pasker passed the gavel installing De’Lisa Moore as the new president of the GTRA.
The theme for the installation Gala was “Educate…Advocate…Elevate”. The welcome was given by Master & Mistress of Ceremonies Emory Whittington, broker owner, Whittington Group and Kimberly Dixon first vice president of GTRA. The invocation was presented by Tiffany Jones Chaplain, GTRA. The evening highlighted the many accomplishments of the group from the year including acknowledging the Top Producers in the organization.
The Greater Toledo REALTIST® Association (GTRA) is a trade association whose mission is to build a supportive infrastructure to become a positive and dominate influence in the Ohio real estate market. They represent a unified voice for African Americans and other underserved populations, brokers, agents, affiliates and the clients they serve. “I started the organization in 2019 with about 11 members and now we’ve grown to over 60,” remarked Pasker, outgoing president. “We’re an organization of the premiere network of Black real estate professionals and their allies. In my presidential term, my focus was to educate our communities, advocate on their behalf and also elevate our brand and our businesses in the process,” he stated. Pasker will be transitioning into his new role as president-elect of the Ohio Realtist Association.
The installation for the new board was conducted by Ohio State Representative Josh Williams, who also received the Presidential Service award from the group.
