The BASH

The best party in town has a long list of exciting experiences waiting for YOU. Live bands, food samplings from area restaurants, Flair bartenders, strolling science and so much more will dazzle your taste buds and your minds. PLUS, this year, we’re expanding and taking some of the fun outdoors.

Proceeds from The BASH are used to provide hands-on science education to our community and help support Imagination Station’s vision to extend well beyond the science center walls and inspire innovation, equip visitors with valuable life skills and prepare our community for our knowledge-based economy.
Summer of STEAM

Join us this summer for fun, hands-on science in a neighborhood near you! In partnership with the city of Toledo, Imagination Station will hit the road all summer long bringing slime, rockets and HUGE bubbles to unlock curiosity and keep minds active during break. Summer of STEAM will also connect kids and families with other amazing resources in locations that are convenient for them.

ARRR you ready for an adventure? Come aboard and explore the science that allowed pirates to sail the seven seas. Bravely seek the treasure of the old salty sea dog, Captain Gizmo, and experiment with code-breaking, ship design, weather and navigation.
Make. Code. Create. – Ages 9-13

Have you ever wondered how exhibits are developed? During a week full of fun, campers will discover circuitry, MAKE moving parts and CODE robots and Microbits. Then they will use everything they learned to CREATE an exhibit prototype.
Dinosaurs of Antarctica 3D

Explore the changing environment of the bottom of the world in Dinosaurs of Antarctica 3D. In ancient times, dinosaurs and other creatures roamed freely in a lush landscape and today, the continent holds evidence of that world, frozen beneath the snow and ice. As the climate changes again, melting Antarctic ice is allowing scientists to discover the remains of the past. Meet new dinosaurs and the scientists on a mission to find them.
Star Trek: A New Beginning (2009)

A novice crew embarks on its maiden voyage aboard the USS Enterprise, the most-sophisticated starship ever built. Their path takes them on a collision course with Nero (Eric Bana), a Romulan commander whose mission of vengeance threatens all mankind. Kirk (Chris Pine) and a Vulcan named Spock (Zachary Quinto) must move beyond their rivalry and find a way to defeat Nero before it is too late.

Game Changers, the newest traveling exhibition at Imagination Station will be here all summer long. Discover what it takes to design a game, from music to graphics and play some of your favorites. It’s fun for the entire family.
Tinkering Space: Boat Building
All month
Visitors of all ages can put their science, math, creativity and problem-solving skills to the test as they design and build a boat. Shipwrights will experiment with buoyancy and propulsion as they craft a vessel worthy of the stormiest seas.
