Once a Bulldog …

The Truth Staff

Once again the Scott Bulldog Alumni Weekend, August 14-16, brought together thousands of alumni – from the 1950s to the more recent classes.

The weekend started with the Friday night Meet & Greet at local hotspots. Those from the 1950s and 1960s gathered at the Bluegill Fishing Club; the 1970s alumni met at the Golden Road; the 1980s and 1990s classes found their way to the Hideaway; the 2000s at Luxe Prive and the last group, those from 2011to 2020 met at 419 Headquarters.

On Saturday morning Scott High School was the site of the Black Men’s Wellness Day and in the evening, the Bulldog Black Affair (with a splash of Maroon) was held at the Aria Banquet Hall.

Then came the All Alumni Picnic on Sunday.

Fortunately, the rain stopped just in time for the picnic at Detwiler Park and alumni were able to set up food stations, a band, vendors, scores of gathering areas for the different classes. It was a feast for the eyes, the ears and, most of all, for the taste buds!

Bulldogs all over the world united!
