The 15th Annual Business and Health Expo took place on Saturday, April 4, at the beautiful Epworth United Methodist Church. This event, as always, was hosted by Donnetta Carter, (The Social Butterfly) event organizer along with various volunteer members.
Epworth was a new location and was a perfect setting on a beautiful sunny day. Who was present? The Metroparks of Toledo climbing wall, Toledo Museum of Art glass blowing along with 60 entrepreneurs and community resources that participated this year, such as Lucas County Mental Health and Recovery Service Board, Oak Health Street Clinic, New York Life Insurance, Women’s Voter League, UTMC. A special highlight was the appearance of the Hollywood Show podcast host Robert Henderson and co-host Kimberly Russell. They participated by interviewing the vendors and some guests.
For food, visitors had the great pleasure to have Jo Jo’s Famous turkey burgers and New Taco Del Patron food trucks.
This was a busy day for all from the time it started until the ending at 3 p.m. There was a lot of positive feedback from the guests and vendors who enjoyed the new venue with plenty of parking, easy accessibility and cozy atmosphere.
