So, what more proof does the American public need than what has been graphically shown to them that Donald Trump is beyond reasonable persuasion and is on a course of his
own craven trajectory to crown himself Emperor of the Western Hemisphere?
His latest babblings and gibberish about the rationale for his war with Venezuela could only convince his hard core MAGA base that all is well with their emperor and good times are about to roll in!
It is not outlandish enough that Trump has said that “HE” will run and operate Venezuela
as if running such a large land mass country and millions of people is the same as kicking a soccer ball into a net two feet away?
Trump’s illegal foray into Venezuela and his now outed agenda to seize their oil fields should shock no one since Trump has long ago given up any pretense of being sophisticated about his desire to implement his own “Donroe” Doctrine in the year 2026.
Trump’s shock troops such as Steven Miller, Pete Hegseth and the rest of his sycophants have no qualms about such illicit ventures because they simply can do it.
Power does as power wants…that should be Trump’s new motto. Now he is saber rattling
Cuba, Columbia, Mexico and Greenland with statements that they could be next on his chopping block of invasion and possession.
Never mind the irritants of the US Constitution or the rule of law or the UN Charter or established norms of international law.
Trump has crowned himself emperor and he is defying the feckless GOP to say otherwise.
And why would they? They want to enjoy the ongoing perks and privileges of occupying the Senate or the House; if things become unbearable, they simply default to saying, “Joe Biden” or relax,” Trump is simply trolling you.”
Now that the whole world has witnessed the execution of Ms. Good in Minneapolis by lawless ICE agents, the White House and Company are gas lighting all of us by their profane use of fabricated facts to state that the ICE agent was run over by Ms. Good’s car.
A cursory review of the cell phone recordings clearly indicates that the ICE officer was in no danger but rather totally disregarded his training (?) and shot into a moving vehicle, a vehicle moving away from him.
For Trump and Kristi Noem, facts do not matter but what matters is spinning the truth into bodacious lies so that they get control of the narrative. In this case, that will not happen since “the dogs are out” and everyone can see for themselves that this woman was needlessly executed.
For anyone just now waking up from their slumber since Dear Leader took, again, the White House, you will begin to see a clear and troubling pattern that demonstrates that Trump could care less about the rule of law, due process, civil protest or right and wrong. He is totally an amoral man.
With no one in his White House inner circle who has the courage to upbraid him or simply say, “No!” to him, Trump is unfettered by any legal or moral constraints to even act in a civil manner. He is Trump unleashed and he enjoys the power of being able to careen about leaving trouble and confusion in its wake.
If the phrase, acting like “A bull in a china shop” has any realistic application, it is to the wild and variant mood swings and so called “policy” endeavors that Trump has undertaken in his manic mental condition.
No one benefits from his intellectual gibberish and his manic acts on a rally stage and the sobering thought is that the GOP is veritably frozen from clamping down on him and, in some cases, throwing a net over him for his own sake and the good of the country.
Just think…we have three more years of his flailing, lying and gas lighting to look forward to. If you think that the collective mental health of this country is not in the balance, look again.
This is what you get when voters seeing how erratic a person can be but yet, maybe out of pure spite against voting for a woman president, said they were willing to roll the dice again for this philanderer and convicted felon to be president again.
The midterms are the only way in the foreseeable future to try to curb his excesses but if the American voter is mentally and emotionally worn out by his never-ending shenanigans, Trump’s GOP may keep their majority in the House and Senate.
The next three years will determine whether or not America, as we now know it, will survive this Trumpian onslaught or will it become so carnal and crass that the released demons of duplicity, grift and autocratic power will reign and rule.
