Brace yourself; following the general election, November 5, we are in for a long ride. It might seem like an end to equality, however, there were 72,875,230 of us who voted for Kamala, and we will not go back.
I am a 60 plus year politician. Dwight D. Eisenhower was president when I began to volunteer with the local Democratic Party in 1958; he served from 1953 to 1961, and was notable as an American military officer and a statesman. I have experienced a number of presidential elections and other races, but none like this.
Forward to 2024, the outcome of the presidential race was not what many of those in the Democratic party expected. However, do not blame Joe Biden or Kamala Harris. The fix was already in, it began when Donald Trump left the Whitehouse after the 2020 election.
Social media came alive, and combined with Truth Social with Trump, and ending with Elon Musk’s Social Media X, we were doomed. Money talks! Elon Musk, who was born in South Africa into apartheid (before Nelson Mandela)
moved to Canada, then the United States and become the richest man in the world.
I am afraid the apartheid movement may be coming to America. Go figure. Who else would have had access to all the African Americans whose phones had texts relative to slavery, the plantation and picking cotton.
The NAACP needs to investigate through the FCC regulations and find out the source. Each person who had been subjected to such nonsense should be compensated for the hurt, and threat they were subjected to. The scheme was to play on those who were most vulnerable, and they believed everything that came via social media.
This is a very dangerous period, however, do not be afraid. The souls of John Lewis, Martin Luther King, Rosa Parks, Harriet Tubman, W.E. DuBois, Malcolm X, Nelson Mandela, Mary McCloud Bethune, Sojourner Truth and so many, many others will inspire us to carry on the legacy of fighting for our God given rights.
We Shall Overcome, and we shall survive. We Will Not Go Back
