The Black Food and Wine Experience was held on Saturday, September 14, 2024 at the historic State Savings Bank building in downtown Detroit, Mi. The Black Food and Wine Experience Detroit was truly a unique experience and as you enter the venue all guests received a large wine glass with the Experience logo as a souvenir.
We were able to taste various wines from Black-owned wineries and sample numerous cuisines such as Curt Got Crabs, Irie Bites, Carib Fusion Cuisine and many more. There was also culinary competition between two chefs with a live demonstration of their favorite cuisines prepared for the guests.
The ambiance of the venue was extraordinary with display table of vendors with their products and a female DJ rocking with different genres of music while guests were dressed with the theme of dresses, gowns and suits with sneakers.
