The 14th Annual Christmas Bazaar

The 14th Annual Christmas Bazaar hosted by the Social Butterfly was held Saturday, December 6, on cold, frigid day at the  St. Clement Hall in west  Toledo. Over 800 people attended and participated in the Bazaar events and activities. Some had to wait for a parking space due to the overwhelming number of guests.

The were 75 local small businesses and crafters displaying their products and wares, such as candles, wreaths, jewelry, desserts,  ornaments, women’s apparel and travel, among other merchandise.

A Mary Kay Consultant,  Buckeye Broadband rep, Savvy Sistas Boutique owner and many more.

Mr. & Mrs. Santa Claus arrived and distributed treats and took plenty of photos. Also, a special highlight for the first time this year was a one-hour harp performance by Rebecca Swett. Also on hand was long-time DJ Steven Wolfe playing music from Christmas carols and other great hits. New Tacos Del Patron Food Truck provided Tacos for Christmas.

Donnetta Carter made it a point to thank the sponsors and volunteers such as Taylor Automotive Family,  Lucas County Mental Health and Recovery Service Board, Huntington National Bank and The Sojourner’s Truth Newspaper.

Volunteers were Kamisha Braswell, Shareese Norwood, Carla Moore, Marsha Dodds and the Aces International Students Executive Director Tracee Eliis.

The next events will be held at the NEW LOCATION ALERT: Epworth United Methodist Church 4855 W. Central Ave. Toledo, OH.
