We will start early voting on October 7 and continue early voting through November 2 at the Lucas County Board of Elections at 3737 W. Sylvania Avenue. Precinct voting will be on Election Day, November 4.
Are you ready to vote? I hope so!!
Here are the things you need to do, and have, so you can vote!
You need to be a registered voter. Make sure your I.D. is valid, and up to date, name and address. Also, if you have not voted in the last eight -to-10 years, make sure you have not been purged off the voter rolls. Check with the Lucas County Board of Elections.
If you have been purged from voter rolls, contact the Board of Elections and get registered as soon as possible. The last day to register is October 6.
Now is the time to make sure you are ready to vote!!
(IMPORTANT THINGS TO KNOW).
You can register, at 17 years old.
You can vote at 18 years old.
You can register at the Board of Elections, your local Library, The bureau of Motor Vehicles and online/by computer at www.lucascounty.ohiovotes.gov. Call 419-213-4001 for more information on voting.
Last thing, you need to do, is show up and cast a vote, so your vote will count.
To get change/you need to vote. You have the power, in your vote. To make that change happen, just vote.
