Top Ladies of Distinction, Inc. Toledo Chapter Hosts 2025 Top Teens of America Toledo Chapter Induction Ceremony

The Top Teens of America (TTA) Toledo Chapter proudly hosted its Induction Ceremony on Monday, December 29, 2025, welcoming a new class of young leaders committed to service, leadership and academic excellence. The event was held at the Sanger Branch Library lead by the TTA Toledo Chapter President, Teen Jarrell Terrell, who served as the Master of Ceremonies.

During the ceremony the newly inducted Top Teens were introduced and celebrated as family members, advisors, friends and members of the Toledo Chapter of Top Ladies all  gathered to recognize them as they formally joined an organization devoted to empowering youth and preparing them for future leadership roles.

Lady Shareese Norwood, the TTA Toledo Chapter Advisor, highlighted the history and mission of the organization which includes cultivating leadership skills, promoting academic success, and encouraging civic engagement among young people. Prior to the conclusion of the ceremony, DeLise Simmons, the TTA Toledo Chapter Assistant Advisor, shared the TTA Song.

 

“This induction ceremony marks an important milestone for our new Top Teens,” said Lady Norwood, “We are proud to welcome these outstanding young individuals and look forward to supporting their growth as leaders and role models within our community.”

Lady Wanda Terrell Galloway is the president of the Top Ladies of Distinction, Inc., Toledo Chapter, and is known for her unwavering commitment to the organization, to strong leadership, and passion for service – qualities that continue to positively impact both the organization and the community it serves.

Toledo Chapter members Lady Shontrell Flanagan, also a TTA Assistant Advisor and Teen Peaheir Michalak, the TTA 1st Vice President, were unable to attend the ceremony due to scheduling conflicts; however, both remain actively involved and engaged in the organization..

Top Teens of America (TTA) is a youth auxiliary of Top Ladies of Distinction, Inc., (TLOD) dedicated to empowering teens through leadership development, academic achievement, cultural enrichment, and community service. The Toledo Chapter serves youth throughout the Toledo area by fostering confidence, responsibility, and a commitment to excellence.

The TTA Program is open to both young men and young ladies between 13 and 19 years old from middle school through high school. There is no greater opportunity to instill into teens the greatest ingredients required for adulthood than being a member of Top Teens of America offering Excellence through Culture, Education and Leadership.
