City Hosts Public Meetings on Upcoming Community Improvements and In-Person Wednesdays with Wade

The City is hosting two public meetings to discuss upcoming improvements in our community. These meetings provide an opportunity for residents to learn about the projects, ask questions, and provide input.

Residents are invited to join and share their thoughts on the proposed changes. In Addition, the August Wednesday’s with Wade will be in-person at the East Toledo Family Center.

Below are the details for each meeting:

July 24 @ 5:30 p.m.

Glass City Enrichment Center, 815 Front St.
The City plans to make improvements to three key intersections:

· Front and Main will see some realignment and improved crosswalk conditions.
· Main and Boers-Boyer will see some realignment and narrowing as well as a new multi-use path connection.
· Main and Starr will have a roundabout with places for pedestrians to pause as they pass through.
· Discussion on how funding will support major improvements to the Front Street and Main Street corridors to            better connect East Toledo to the downtown riverfront and Glass City Metropark.
