The legislation prioritizes training and staff, a focus on expertise and a focus on resources. I plan to honor my commitments, protect our seniors, prioritize safe conditions for workers, prioritize benefits and wages, and protect our children,\u201d explained Ohio Rep. Rogers Jr.<\/p>\n<p>The weather didn\u2019t keep supporters from joining the Elgin Rogers\u2019 Jr campaign for a late afternoon of fundraising and networking. Rogers\u2019 is the current State of Ohio representative for District 44.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-9888 alignleft\" src=\"http:\/\/wordpress.thetruthtoledo.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/Michelle-Miller-and-Susan-Mulligan.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"246\" \/>\u201cI heard Elgin speak about one year ago on a panel with other politicians. I knew he was the real deal. He\u2019s kind, passionate and eloquent, someone that we need in government. I\u2019ve taken him to several events and he is always willing to help anyone that he can,\u201d shared Susan Mulligan of Ottawa County.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cElgin is willing to stop and listen. I was working on a program and he asked if he could come by and learn about our program. We\u2019re a program that is rooted in farming and he kept his word and came by.
