An audience of about one hundred joined Terri Cook on Sunday, August 8, to help her celebrate her boutique\u2019s seventh anniversary. The visitors were treated to an array of vendors, food trucks and, above all, a fashion show featuring some of the items that Simply D\u2019Vine stocks.<\/p>\n

Cook opened Simply D\u2019Vine Boutique in August 2014 and brought to life an idea she had been nurturing for 19 years \u2013 a stylish boutique that offers something for every pocketbook and a variety of teastes.<\/p>\n

During a tour of the boutique \u2013 located in the Marketplace West Shops, 3606 W. Sylvania Avenue \u2013 Cook directs customers past shelves containing styles she labels \u201cYoung at Heart\u201d to \u201cModerately Chic\u201d to \u201cSophisticated\u201d \u2013 something for every whim. There is also a \u201cCurvaceous\u201d rack for the plus-sized customer.<\/p>\n

\"\"In addition to girls and women\u2019s clothing, Cook also carries men\u2019s apparel \u2013 shirts, socks and ties. Men\u2019s suits are available to order. It\u2019s a small tidy shop with an abundance of goods.<\/p>\n

The anniversary celebration however was anything but small. Cook and her staff took over much of the parking lot of the Marketplace, on a bright, sunny day for the event with the catwalk for the fashion show extending out of the doorway of the shop.<\/p>\n

A half dozen models, including Cook herself, displayed gowns, sweaters \u2013 an assortment of formal and informal fashions along with the accessories that the boutique also has on hand.<\/p>\n
