The film is a recording of a stage production.<br \/>\nIt incorporates speeches of political figures of the day, letters from the soldiers and sounds of popular music of the era will bring the unit\u2019s story to life.<br \/>\n\u201cCamp Delaware\u201d will be shown at 3 p.m. and last until 5 p.m., followed by a question-and-answer session with the filmmakers until 5:30 p.m.<br \/>\nTickets are $15 and available online at\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.rbhayes.org\/news\/2024\/11\/18\/general\/film-about-5th-u.s.-%20%20%20colored-troops-in-civil-war-to-be-shown-at-hayes-presidential\/\">https:\/\/www.rbhayes.org\/news\/2024\/11\/18\/general\/film-about-5th-u.s.-\u00a0\u00a0 colored-troops-in-civil-war-to-be-shown-at-hayes-presidential\/<\/a>. Tickets will be sold at the front desk the day of the event, pending availability.<br \/>\nProceeds benefit the Community Arts Network Performing Arts Scholarship. The scholarship is for Ohio graduating high school Seniors who will be attending an Ohio college or university to pursue a degree in the performing arts. A previous screening took place on Oct. 27 in conjunction with Hayes Presidential\u2019s Civil War Winter Camp. The film was well-received, and Hayes Presidential wanted to bring it back so that more people could see it. February was chosen for the second screening because it is Black History Month.<br \/>\nHayes Presidential is America\u2019s first presidential library and the forerunner of the federal presidential library system. It is partially funded by the state of Ohio and affiliated with the Ohio History Connection.
