She received her B.S. in accounting, as well as her MBA, from Florida A&amp;M University. She received her CPA in Virginia shortly after graduation. Jackson has served on the boards of several professional organizations, and currently serves as a member of the AICPA &amp; CIMA board of directors, the Toledo LISC advisory board and on the boards of directors of The CPA Foundation and the Toledo Zoo. In 2020, she was named the \u201cOutstanding Local Government CPA\u201d by the American Institute of CPAs.<\/p>\n<p>The mission of Lucas County Children Services is to lead the community in the\u00a0protection of children at risk of abuse and neglect.
