Mitchell\u2019s daughter, Cassandra Parker, led the gathering of her family and community for a dinner served by the Hilton. She ushered those in attendance to signify giving Alice her flowers with the passing of roses, following words of endearment. Along with the reminiscing, the host shared a collection of photos spanning over nine decades of her life.<\/p>\n<p>Alice has been a resident of Toledo for over 70 years, moving to the city with her husband in her early 20s. She had two children in her marriage, which has multiplied into three generations of 20 grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren she has had the pleasure of helping to raise and mentor. \u201cA thank you, Mom, for just being you,\u201d read LaShonda Johnson from a guest card.<\/p>\n<p>Parker shared a brief history of Mitchell\u2019s career working in nursing, family transitions, and milestones. Rev. Cedric Brock, pastor of Mt.
