With the theme of \u201cWalking in the Pathway of Light,\u201d the National Association of Negro Business and Professional Women\u2019s Clubs, Inc, Toledo Club, held the inaugural Yellow Event on Saturday, June 7, 2025.<\/p>\n

This fundraiser event was held downtown by the water in a hall with the
\ncrystal chandeliers highlighting ALL of the ladies in the room young and
\nseasoned.<\/p>\n

President Tyra Smith wanted to introduce young ladies to professional businesswomen while refueling the women into their next
\nseason. It started the moment one entered the room and walked down the
\nyellow brick road to her seat.<\/p>\n

This event was full of empowering sisterhood and supporting
\ncharacter building workshops<\/p>\n

Each speaker spoke on the difference in Self Esteem and Confidence
\nOne guest speaker was the 2024 Debutante to reach the young generation and
\nthe Keynote Speaker was Lady Deneen Winans<\/p>\n

The atmosphere was set with the warm yellow accents and attire worn by each
\nperson, the workshops at the end of being filled with wisdom and
\nencouragement was the icing on the cake for the woman and young ladies who
\npartnered up to fill the ladies cup (heart, mind, and soul) with
\naffirmations, future plans and wisdom.<\/p>\n

This event was chaired by Pastor Marquisa Horton and Sherry Coogler, EdD. Both of the NANBPWC CLUB, INC.<\/p>\n
