\u00a0New Interactive Experiences and Fan-Favorite Events Return <\/strong><\/p>\n

The\u00a0Toledo Zoo is thrilled to announce the opening of its highly anticipated 39th annual\u00a0Lights Before Christmas season presented by\u00a0KeyBank beginning with a spectacular tree-lighting on November 22. This treasured holiday event will once again transform the Zoo into a winter wonderland, captivating guests of all ages with dazzling displays, magical experiences and unforgettable memories.<\/p>\n

The tree-lighting ceremony marks the beginning of the six-week ultimate holiday experience, featuring over one million twinkling lights, more than 200 illuminated animal images, our Dancing Northern Lights, sponsored by Cenovus and our Main Plaza Dancing Lights, sponsored by Comfort Line LTD \u2013 Fiber Frame. Guests will find delicious seasonal treats and warm beverages throughout the Zoo to enjoy as they stroll among the enchanting displays.<\/p>\n

For nearly four decades,\u00a0Lights Before Christmas presented by KeyBank has been a cornerstone of the holiday season for generations of families. After securing the title of one of USA TODAY\u2019s Top10 Best Zoo Lights in recent years, the Zoo is excited to offer a fresh season of cherished traditions and new delights. Guests are encouraged to vote for this year\u2019s\u00a0Lights Before Christmas on\u00a0 – 10 best.com (https:\/\/10best.usatoday.com\/awards\/travel\/best-zoo-lights-2024\/lights-before-christmas-at-toledo-zoo-toledo-ohio\/<\/a>).<\/p>\n

This year\u2019s event includes the return of the reimagined Winter Village, sponsored by Kroger, in the historic Amphitheatre. Visitors can ride down our ice slide then cozy at up at our fire pits with a festive drink from Twinkle Tavern, explore seasonal treasures at Enchanted Gifts and enjoy holiday treats at The Sweet Shoppe. Santa will be available for photos and visits in the Winter Village from 4-8 p.m. daily, November 23 through December 23.<\/p>\n

The 2024 Toledo Zoo\u00a0Lights Before Christmas will be open November 22 \u2013 December 31, with hours as follows:<\/p>\n

* Hours of Operation: * During the season, the Zoo will open exclusively for\u00a0Lights Before Christmas starting at 3 p.m.
