A local organization, First Lady Network, celebrated local places of worship\u2019s First Ladies and Lady Pastors on Saturday, July 13, 2024 at the downtown Toledo Club.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019re here to celebrate First Ladies and Lady Pastors,\u201d said Tiffany Lewis. \u201cWe will also facilitate leadership training that better the best in pastors\u2019 wives and lady pastors.\u201d<\/p>\n

The morning opened with a networking opportunity where attendees were asked to learn about their similarities through a 10-minute conversation. The morning transitioned into a leadership workshop facilitated by Tiffany Lewis and her mother Pastor and Lady Celeste Mitchell of Crusaders For Christ, Maxwell Leadership Certified Coaches. The ladies were each given a mirror to reflect.<\/p>\n

\u201cAre you zooming in or out while you are looking into the mirror?\u201d said Lewis. \u201cMirrors are good to reflect on your journey. Use the mirror to reflect on what happened and how it shaped who you are now.\u201d<\/p>\n

Pastor Lady Celeste Mitchell spoke about the responsibilities and expectations of accepting the calling to serve as a First Lady of a place of worship.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere are stories that come along when reflecting on being a Pastor\u2019s Wife,\u201d said Mitchell. \u201cWe want to be the best wife that God has called you to be because what you want to do, may not be what God has called you to do. We have to be obedient to God because all experiences are brought by God to teach us.\u201d<\/p>\n

The morning concluded with certificate presentations and brunch. The celebration brunch concluded a year-long journey of facilitated leadership workshops that utilized a book which outlines the 15 valuable laws of growth. The group would meet once per month, complete pre-work and discuss themes during brunch. For additional information visit www.firstladies.network<\/a><\/p>\n
