information with your <em> my<\/em> <em> Social Security<\/em> account.\u00a0 This is a useful resource even if you are not receiving benefits.\u00a0 You can:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Request a replacement Social Security number or Medicare card.<\/li>\n<li>Get personalized retirement benefit estimates.<\/li>\n<li>Get estimates for spouse\u2019s benefits.<\/li>\n<li>Print proof that you do not receive benefits.<\/li>\n<li>Check your application or appeal status.<\/li>\n<li>Read your <em> Social Security Statement.<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>If you are receiving benefits, you can:<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Request a replacement Social Security number or Medicare card.<\/li>\n<li>Set up or change direct deposit.<\/li>\n<li>Print a Social Security 1099 (SSA-1099) form.<\/li>\n<li>Opt retirement benefits.\u00a0 It also provides a record of your earnings history and other valuable information. \u00a0And now it\u2019s even better!<\/p>\n<p>We\u2019ve added new fact sheets to accompany the online <em>Statement<\/em>.
