Individuals will explore the profound impact of bias and systemic racism through facilitated exercises and discussions. \u00a0All necessary materials will be supplied.<\/p>\n
The Unitarian Church is sponsoring these sessions to fulfill its mission of \u201cwidening the Unitarian Church\u2019s circle\u201d of involvement in the entire Toledo community. \u00a0It is hoped that 10 participants will be from the Unitarian Church and 10 from other churches, entities or individuals in the
\ncommunity and that these dialogues might lead to building stronger
\nrelationships throughout the community.<\/p>\n
Alexii Collins, Racial Justice Coordinator at the YWCA NW Ohio, will be leading the sessions and providing the updated program and materials.
\nThe sessions are planned for Tuesday, March 5 and Thursday, March 7 from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. each day at the First Unitarian Church of Toledo at 3205 Glendale Ave. in Toledo. \u00a0Lunch will be provided. \u00a0 Funding for these sessions is provided by the education fund of the First Unitarian Church.<\/p>\n
