Nine members of the Competition Corvette Club Toledo visited Lott Industries on Thursday, July 23, to give the workers a chance to view the various Corvettes the members own and drive.

“We came up here to do community service, we do a lot for the community,” said member Eugene Holmes.

The staff at Lott Industries requested the visit knowing what a thrill the view of the vintage automobiles would give the workforce during their lunch break.

Lott Industries is currently celebrating 70 years of service this year, helping people with developmental disabilities in the area. The non-profit provides educational and job opportunities for those workers through partnerships.

“It does our heart proud to come up here,” said Holmes. “This is part of our mission.”

The automobile club was started by Seldon Hill in 1977 and the name was changed to Competition Corvette Club Toledo in 2005.
